Item Využitie mobilných sietí pre ovládanie a prenos videa z UAV(University of Žilina, 2025) Harasin, Adrián; Novák, AndrejUnmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly used in various fields, with reliable communication and data transmission being key aspects of their effective deployment. This paper explores the use of mobile networks for remote UAV control and real-time video transmission. It analyzes the advantages and limitations of different mobile network generations, particularly 4G LTE and 5G, in terms of latency, stability, and bandwidth. The results highlight optimization possibilities and potential applications of mobile networks in areas such as monitoring, security operations, and autonomous systems. Additionally, the thesis examines technological challenges and security aspects that impact the reliability of this solution.Item Využitie UAV pre monitorovanie a údržbu letiskovej infraštruktúry(University of Žilina, 2025) Levchenko, Vladyslava; Dianovský, RobertThe aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore the possibility of implementing UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) in the inspection and maintenance of airport infrastructure. The thesis focuses on identifying the most suitable areas in airport operations for UAV deployment and compares their advantages over traditional methods. Within this analysis, the technological capabilities of UAVs, their sensor equipment, and legal aspects of operation are examined in detail. Their application in airport operations and evaluation of implementation efficiency and cost-effectiveness are also investigated. In the practical part, a comparative analysis of two inspection approaches and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of UAV implementation into operations was used. For areas with the highest suitability for UAV deployment, a detailed methodology for their implementation was developed. The results of the thesis show that drones can significantly increase efficiency and safety in performing inspections, especially in areas with extensive and time-consuming operations. UAV implementation also brings economic benefits, such as reduced maintenance costs and limited disruption to airport operations. The conclusions of the thesis suggest that the optimal approach to UAV deployment in airport operations lies in their gradual integration in combination with traditional methods, leading to optimal results in terms of efficiency, safety, and costs.Item Optimalizácia riadenia UAV: analýza ľudského faktora a jeho vplyv na bezpečnosť a efektivitu prevádzky(University of Žilina, 2025) Zacharová, Alexandra; Pecho, PavolCurrently, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is on the rise, which implies that care must be taken to ensure safe operation. Safe operation depends on several factors, not only technical but also, to a significant extent, on the human factor, the human factor. This paper aims to investigate the impact of the human factor, specifically the impact of cognitive ability, stress and reaction time of pilots on stress reactions in various simulated emergency situations. The goal of the research is to optimize flight procedures and minimize the negative impact of the human factor on UAV control. In the experimental part, the research addresses the variability of heart rate (HRV) and electroencephalographic (EEG) data that were measured during UAV control in the presence of simulated critical situations. Other measured parameter such as reaction time, maneuver accuracy or stress response provide important information about the neurophysiological load of operators. Thus, the outcome of the study is to identify critical situations, analyze decision-making processes and propose streamlined training procedures for UAV operators.
