In recent years, various agricultural UAVs (mainly the copter configuration) have been developed for processing small fields using the method of ultra-low-volume spraying. The proposed project of an agricultural UAV aircraft configuration has several advantages especially when used on large fields. Due to the high flight speed, high payload and the duration of flight time without refuelling, this aircraft has a fairly high performance in the process of protecting plants from diseases and pests. In addition, a relatively simple infrastructure, based on the years of experience in the use of manned aircraft in agriculture, allows, by analogy, to develop an unmanned aviation system for agricultural purposes. Flights are currently underway to test UAV control systems when manoeuvring at low altitudes near obstacles.Item Aerodynamic optimazation of long endurance UAV wing(University of Žilina, 2024) Jackuliak, Jakub; Dianovský, Róbert; Bernátová, BarboraWith recent growth in UAV sector, UAVs are progressively used more than ever before. With growth of UAV use is closely tied growth of possible uses of such aircraft. Missions conducted by any aircraft put requirements on the aircraft itself. This leads to necessity of optimization of aircraft for specific mission profile to maximize its mission efficiency. This article focuses on optimization of UAV wing for long endurance flight.Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2019(University of Zilina, 2019) Novák, Andrej; Lusiak, Tomasz; Kováčik, Ľubomír; Škultéty, Filip; Čerňan, Jozef; Rostáš, Ján; Bugaj, Martin; Pecho, Pavol; Lusiak, Tomasz; Janovec, Michal; Urminský, Tomáš; Škvareková, Iveta; Kandera, Branislav; Ažaltovič, ViliamItem AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2020(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2021 (University of Žilina, 2021)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2022(University of Zilina, 2022)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2023(University of Žilina, 2023)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 1/2024(University of Žilina, 2024)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 2/2019(University of Zilina, 2019) Kováčik, Ľubomír; Novák, Andrej; Lusiak, Tomasz; Škultéty, Filip; Poljak, Jozef; Yun, Gennadiy; Pederiy, Yuri; Gnashuk, Andrei; Bartoš, Miroslav; Badánik, Benedikt; Jarošová, Miriam; Kazda, Antonín; Bugaj, Martin; Materna, MatúšItem AEROjournal - celé číslo 2/2020(University of Zilina, 2020)Item Item Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 2/2023(University of Žilina, 2023)Item AEROjournal - celé číslo 2/2024(University of Žilina, 2024)Item AMSS in Europe(University of Žilina, 2022) Novák, Andrej; Kováčiková, KristínaNowadays, technology is developing rapidly, therefore satellite and aviation systems need to keep pace with modern trends and new technology. It is based on the most simple radio navigation concept: a ground-based radio transmitter (the NDB) sends an omnidirectional signal that an aircraft loop antenna receives. Our practical measurement shows that the NDB satisfies ICAO standards and can be used in industrial part of urban area and is functional in spite of the interference. The paper concentrates on the measuring of the Non Directional Beacon (NDB) which is installed close to industrial part of the city. The ADF/NDB navigation system is one of the oldest air navigation system still in use today. One of the paper's goals is to familiarize the aviation public with the practical measurement of this urban area phenomenon in terms of flight safety, which is common in mountainous nations such as Slovakia. The article's other purpose is to educate professionals in the area about this occurrence in terms of its nature as a physical rule, in order to develop solutions to improve the navigation system's measurement accuracy.Item ANALÝZA RUŠENIA SIGNÁLU GNSS NA LETISKU POPRAD- TATRY(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Novák, Andrej; Novák Sedláčková, Alena; Stelmach, AnnaThe paper is focused on the GNSS signal interference during the airport approach procedures at small Slovak regional airport Poprad-Tatry. The paper analyzes the simulation of the situation during the identification and monitoring of GNSS signal interference by ground station situated at the airport. Nowadays is still important to develop air transport and increasing the safety and continuity of provided services even at small regional airports. One of the most appropriate possibilities is to use at this kind of airports with insufficiently equipped navigation infrastructure the GNSS approach. The monitoring of reliability of this system and implementation of monitoring the GNSS signal interference in the final phase of the instrument approach will increase the safety of the flight.Item Aplikačné postupy pre prepravu nebezpečného nákladu v komerčnej leteckej doprave(University of Žilina, 2024) Burešová, Karin; Rostáš, JánThis article analyses the transport of dangerous goods, and it focuses primarily on the transport of lithium batteries.
