dc.description.abstract | The presented aim of paper is focused on the implementation of virtual and augmented reality elements into the training of future pilots. To understand the issues related to these technologies, in its introduction, the thesis focuses on identifying the differences between virtual reality and augmented reality. The next part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the use of virtual and augmented reality in civil aviation. The following section deals with the creation of a virtual environment for the purpose of training of future pilots. The creation of the virtual environment is divided into two parts. The first part concerns the creation of the virtual cockpit of the selected aircraft. This will allow pilots in training to become familiar with the layout of the on-board instruments and controls. The second part of the proposed virtual environment allows pilots to practice checklists. Checklists are a critical skill for every pilot. At the end of the thesis, feedback from the students is presented. | |
