Item Dopad vojenských konfliktov a politických nepokojov na leteckú dopravu(University of Žilina, 2025) Gardianová, Laura; Novák Sedláčková, AlenaThe aim of this paper is to present the impact of armed conflicts and political unrest on civil aviation, with a focus on identifying threats and analyzing the aviation sector's responses to destabilizing factors. The paper examines the influence of geopolitical events on the functioning of air transport, analyzing specific cases of countries affected by armed conflicts or domestic unrest. Attention is paid to the measures adopted in the affected airspaces and their impact on airlines, passengers, and the economy of the sector. The research also includes an assessment of the effectiveness of international sanctions related to civil aviation and their influence on the safety and continuity of air services. It focuses on the analysis of economic and operational consequences, as well as identifying possible approaches to enhancing the resilience of air transport to similar threats in the future. In conclusion, the thesis presents proposed measures that could contribute to more effective crisis management and maintaining stability in the field of civil aviation even during times of geopolitical tension. The results highlight the importance of early risk identification and the necessity of a coordinated international response aimed at minimizing the negative consequences for air transport.Item Projevy klimatické změny na vybraných letištích Slovenska(University of Žilina, 2025) Janošková, Alena; Jarošová, MiriamThe topic of this article is focused on the impact of climate change on the increasing tendency in the occurrence of hazardous weather phenomena at selected airports in Slovakia. The aim of the article is to confirm or refute the influence of climate change on the increasing frequency of meteorological phenomena in the specified time frame from 2000 to 2019 by means of a comprehensive statistical analysis and statistical summarization of meteorological data. The first part of the article defines the basic terminology related to the climate change and specifies the importance of addressing the issue in the context of aviation safety. For the practical part of the article meteorological reports provided by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute were used. In the practical part, various statistical methods, and a comprehensive evaluation of the frequency of individual weather phenomena during the analyzed years, were used. The hypothesis of increasing frequency of weather phenomena over the years was statistically confirmed only for thunderstorm activity at one meteorological station.Item TRHY S NÁKLADNOU LETECKOU DOPRAVOU VO VYBRANÝCH SVETOVÝCH REGIÓNOCH(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Hajduková, Gréta Mária; Materna, MatúšAir freight is a sector often overlooked by literature despite its importance. This bachelor thesis was written using available literature, particularly annual and monthly reports published by international aviation organizations. The first part of the thesis analyses the current situation of the production of airplane technology. It includes the comparison of sales of the best known aircraft between these two categories and it also handles the support from the big aircraft producers to the smaller ones. The second part shows the many ways of aircraft production in different factories and explains them step by step. Another important point of this thesis is to help the reader make a clear vision about the manufacturing steps, ordering process and the final assembly of the aircrafts. The last part shows the application of new production and aircraft technologies which already have or will have influence on aircraft production in the future.Item NOVÉ FORMY HORIZONTÁLNEJ SPOLUPRÁCE LETECKÝCH SPOLOČNOSTÍ(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Turčan, Dávid; Novák Sedláčková, AlenaThe aim of the paper is to introduce the information about forms of horizontal cooperation between companies in the aviation sector.
