Dopad vojenských konfliktov a politických nepokojov na leteckú dopravu
(University of Žilina, 2025) Gardianová, Laura; Novák Sedláčková, Alena
The aim of this paper is to present the impact of armed conflicts and political unrest on civil aviation, with a focus on identifying threats and analyzing the aviation sector's responses to destabilizing factors. The paper examines the influence of geopolitical events on the functioning of air transport, analyzing specific cases of countries affected by armed conflicts or domestic unrest. Attention is paid to the measures adopted in the affected airspaces and their impact on airlines, passengers, and the economy of the sector. The research also includes an assessment of the effectiveness of international sanctions related to civil aviation and their influence on the safety and continuity of air services. It focuses on the analysis of economic and operational consequences, as well as identifying possible approaches to enhancing the resilience of air transport to similar threats in the future. In conclusion, the thesis presents proposed measures that could contribute to more effective crisis management and maintaining stability in the field of civil aviation even during times of geopolitical tension. The results highlight the importance of early risk identification and the necessity of a coordinated international response aimed at minimizing the negative consequences for air transport.

Umelá inteligencia ako ľudský faktor v letectve
(University of Žilina, 2025) Štrauchová, Alexandra; Veľký, Patrik
This paper aims to examine the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in aviation, with a particular focus on its impact on decision-making and safety. The objective of the paper is to analyse the development and current state of AI technologies, including machine learning and deep learning, and to assess their application across various areas of aviation. The paper highlights the integration of AI in aircraft design and manufacturing, air traffic management, airport operations, and emerging air mobility systems such as drones and U-space. Special attention is given to the legal, ethical, and safety implications associated with AI adoption in aviation environments. The paper also addresses the interaction between human operators and AI technologies, particularly in cockpits, maintenance processes, and air traffic control. In conclusion, the paper outlines the potential benefits and challenges of AI in aviation and provides insight into its future direction and further development in the field.

Identifikácia rušenia GNSS signálu na letiskách
(University of Žilina, 2024) Paraska, Michal; Novák, Andrej
In this thesis, the interference of GNSS signals at airports was studied, identifying the main types of interference and their sources. Through a thorough analysis and reevaluation of experimental setups, effective detection methods and mitigation strategies were established. The findings emphasize the significant impact of interference on safety and operational efficiency in aviation. It is recommended to enhance signal integrity with advanced monitoring systems and to work with aviation regulatory authorities to update existing frameworks, ensuring reliable GNSS functionality in an increasingly congested environment.
