    Integrácia bezpilotných leteckých systémov
(University of Žilina, 2025) Valášek, Denis; Kandera, Branislav; Nichtová, Radoslava
This article explores the integration of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) into civil airspace, focusing on collision avoidance technologies and remote identification systems. As drone operations expand, ensuring safety and interoperability becomes essential. The study reviews systems such as TCAS, ACAS, ADS-B, and FLARM, and highlights their adaptability for UAS. EU regulations 2019/947 and 2019/945 are addressed with regard to Remote ID requirements. Practical testing of Dronetag Beacon Gen. 2 and Aerobits TR-1F at Žilina Airport demonstrated accurate and stable data transmission, confirming their suitability for UAS integration. The findings underline the need for both technological innovation and regulatory alignment to safely merge manned and unmanned traffic.

Využitie palív vyrobených z odpadových zdrojov uhľovodíkov v letectve
(University of Žilina, 2024) Hruška, Samuel; Čerňan, Jozef
The aim of the article was to outline the methods of aviation fuel production and propose the production of aviation kerosene from waste hydrocarbon sources. The article contains information about currently used aviation fuels, evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of their use, and the status of alternative propulsion utilization in aviation with an emphasis on ecology. The focus of the article is on methods of laboratory testing of the properties and quality of aviation kerosene as the most commonly used aviation fuel, where testing methods and procedures on specific laboratory instruments are described. In the practical part of this thesis, the method of producing aviation kerosene from waste hydrocarbon sources, specifically waste motor oils and industrial emulsions, is described. The detailed procedure for fuel production is subsequently concluded with laboratory testing of basic properties and their comparison with the properties of aviation kerosene.

    Analýza palubného vybavenia moderných lietadiel
(University of Žilina, 2024) Mikolaj, Martin; Novák, Andrej
This bachelor's thesis provides a detailed overview of the development, history and current status of aircraft on-board equipment. The first part deals with the evolution of cockpits from their origins to modern technological trends and future challenges. The next part analyzes the standards, recommendations and certification processes, with an emphasis on the ergonomics of the cockpit design and the requirements of the international organization for civil aviation. The following section addresses pilot adaptation to new cockpit systems, taking into account factors such as human factors, training and automation risks. In the end, current trends, perspectives of future development and their possible impact on pilots and flight safety are evaluated.
