Item Analýza vplyvu tvaru zakončenia krídla na jeho aerodynamické vlastnosti(University of Žilina, 2025) Kremnický, Jakub; Jackuliak, JakubThe goal of this thesis is to investigate the different types of wingtip solutions, their historical development, current use and potential directions of further development. The basic aerodynamic principles influencing the airflow around the wing, the formation of vortex flow and the possibilities of its minimization by means of a suitable shape of the wingtip are described. Based on the analysis of different types of wingtips, ranging from simple fixed solutions to advanced active and mechanized concepts, the thesis proposes and evaluates the potential use of fixed, active and variable wingtips, as well as theoretical concepts of mechanization of current solutions and their application in practice. The final part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge gained, compares the advantages and limitations of the different wingtip solutions and outlines the perspectives for the future development of wing terminations. Thus conceived, the thesis provides not only an overview of current technologies, but also a proposal for an innovative solution with the potential to contribute to increasing the sustainability of future concepts.Item Morphing wings of aircraft(University of Zilina, 2022) Jackuliak, Jakub; Bugaj, MartinGoal of the paper is to describe use of morphing wings on aircraft and their possible use to increase aerodynamic efficiency of aircraft. Paper is divided into two parts. First part focuses on design and material requirements of morphing wings as well as describes some of studied concepts. Second part compares studied concepts using gathered data and proposes possible combinations of concepts with goal of further increase of aerodynamic efficiency.
